My Approach

My approach is warm and empathetic. I create a safe and judgment-free environment for my clients to open up, be their authentic selves, and share their story. I use a variety of evidence-based practices (treatments that scientific research shows to be most helpful and effective) and alter the practices I use for each client, as each client is unique. My clients and I set goals to work on, so we have a clearer path to walk on our therapy journey together, and I often give out “homework” so clients can continue to learn and grow in between sessions. I incorporate humor when appropriate and tend to be direct, as I will gently challenge my clients to grow and become the best version of themselves.
