  • Send us a message through the Contact Page of this website to set up a free 15-minute initial phone consultation. The purpose of a phone consultation is to share a little about what you’ve been experiencing and for us to tell you how we work and to answer any questions you may have.

If it seems like we’d be a good fit to work together, we’ll schedule an intake session and you’ll be sent the intake forms to fill out before the first session.

  • A therapy session takes place in a relaxed office environment (or in your own home if doing virtual sessions) where we will listen, ask questions, and help you discover insights and understanding.

At the beginning of our relationship, we will discuss your goals and identify a path to reach them.

Therapy sessions are typically weekly and 50-55 minutes in length. Most clients prefer to come at the same day and time each week. The duration of therapy can be short-term (focusing on a specific problem) or long-term (focusing on more complex issues or ongoing personal growth).

Effective therapy involves active participation during and in between sessions.

  • Yes. We offer telehealth sessions as well as in-person sessions. Telehealth (virtual) sessions are held on a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

  • We offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation.

For private pay, fees range from $120-$150 per session, depending on your therapist.

If you plan to use your health insurance, you may have a copay or you may need to pay out of pocket until you reach your deductible. Your insurance provider will be able to give you more information on what you can expect to pay.

  • We offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients. If this sounds like you, ask about the fees during your free 15-minute initial consultation.

  • We accept debit and credit cards, cash, and HSA cards.

Payment is due at each session. Most clients choose to enroll in automatic payment by keeping a credit card on file.

    A note on private insurances:

If your insurance is not listed above, you can see if your insurance covers out-of-network providers. If so, we are happy to offer you a superbill (invoices with session dates and rates) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. To see if you’re eligible to work with out-of-network providers, you’ll need to contact your insurance company.

There are benefits to out-of-pocket therapy services:

There is no need for a diagnosis. We can address your problems without labeling you. Insurance companies often set a limit on the number of sessions per month/year. With private pay, the decisions regarding the focus, frequency, and duration of therapy are made by you and your therapist. We can continue therapy even if you change jobs or insurance providers. Many clients choose to return to therapy at different phases in life. Choosing a provider on fit, rather than insurance, gives you more options.

    A Note on Medicaid:

If you have Medicaid, you are required to use your benefits and are not eligible to pay for any services out-of-pocket. In doing so, you would be at risk of losing your benefits. We accept the following Medicaid Regional Accountable Entities (RAEs): Colorado Access, Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA), and Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP).
