  • Send me a message through the Contact page of this website to set up a free 15-minute initial phone consultation.

If it seems like we’d be a good fit to work together, we’ll schedule an intake session and you’ll be sent some forms to fill out before the first session.

  • A therapy session takes place in a relaxed office environment (or in your own home if doing teletherapy) where I will listen, ask questions, and help you discover insights and understanding.

At the beginning of our relationship, we will discuss your goals and identify a path to reach them.

Therapy sessions are typically weekly and 50-minutes in length. Most clients prefer to come at the same day and time each week. The duration of therapy can be short-term (focusing on a specific problem) or long-term (focusing on more complex issues or ongoing personal growth).

Effective therapy involves active participation during and between the weekly sessions.

  • Yes. I offer telehealth sessions as well as in-person sessions.

  • I offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation.

If you decide to start sessions, fees are $120 for an individual session.

  • I offer a sliding scale fee for a limited number of clients. If this sounds like you, ask about the fees during your 15-minute free initial consultation.

  • I accept cash, check, debit/credit card, and HSA cards.

Payment is due at each session. There is also an option to enroll in automatic payment by keeping a credit card on file.

  • Commercial Health Insurance:

I do not accept commercial health insurance. However, if your insurance covers out-of-network providers, I am happy to offer you a Superbill (invoices with session dates and rates) for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

There are many benefits to out-of-pocket therapy services:

There is no need for a diagnosis. We can address your problems without labeling you.

Insurance companies often set a limit on the number of sessions per month/year. With private pay, the decisions regarding the focus, frequency, and duration of therapy are made by you and me.

We can continue therapy even if you change jobs or insurance providers. Many clients choose to return to therapy at different phases in life. Choosing a provider on fit, rather than insurance, is worth the investment.

    Medicaid:

I do accept Medicaid. I am a Medicaid contracted therapist for Life’s Hope Therapeutic Services. Health First Colorado is Colorado’s Medicaid Program and includes Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA), Colorado Access, and Rocky Mountain Health Plan. If you would like to use your Medicaid benefits, contact me at 720-235-8179 or at brooke@lifeshope.net to set up a free phone consultation.
